Club Professional - Rob Simpson

Robert began his career in golf by winning the Sheffield Junior Open and represented both Sheffield and Yorkshire at senior level.

At the age of 17, Robert turned Professional under the guidance of Peter Cowen at Dore & Totley Golf Club Sheffield. At 21 he moved to Tenerife, on the Golf Del Sur Complex and was involved with the inaugural Tenerife Open. Robert moved back to England in 1990 and worked with John Cornelius at Northshore Golf Club.

In 1994 Robert began full time coaching at Riverside Golf Centre and in 1996 became Head Professional at Ruddington Grange Golf Club, Nottingham where he coaches golf at the present time. In 1999 he was promoted to Director of Golf, a position he has at the present time.
